ITS Academy

AI governance for critical infrastructure.

Practical, research-led training for professionals responsible for AI-enabled essential services and consequential systems. ITS Academy translates AI governance frameworks, regulatory principles and critical-infrastructure experience into operational controls, decision processes and reusable implementation tools.

Free self-paced course · Now available

AI Governance for Critical Infrastructure is a 57-minute foundational course comprising nine modules, verified video progression, knowledge checks, a final assessment and an ITS Academy certificate of completion.

What makes it different

Built for operational reality, not theory

Operational, not merely conceptual

Our programmes focus on what organisations must be able to do: identify AI systems, classify risk, assign authority, monitor behaviour, intervene during failure and preserve evidence.

Artefact-based learning

Participants develop practical outputs — AI inventories, authority matrices, governance decision records, incident playbooks, vendor-assurance checklists and implementation roadmaps.

Source-disciplined

Each programme distinguishes between published regulations and frameworks, emerging work, sector standards and operational controls developed independently by ITS.

Built from critical-infrastructure experience

Telecom provides the primary operational foundation, with governance methods carefully adapted for energy, cloud, data centres and other critical-infrastructure environments.

Telecom AI Governance Practitioner Certificate
Assessed cohort · 12–18 hrsFirst cohort under preparation

The flagship programme for telecom operators, vendors, NOC teams, governance professionals and regulators. Participants build an assessed portfolio — inventory, risk register, authority matrix, monitoring plan, vendor-assurance record and incident-response plan — and receive an ITS Academy certificate of completion. The certificate is not a regulatory licence, professional accreditation or third-party certification.

A practitioner's voice for speaking engagements

ITS brings something rare to governance panels: someone who has actually run the autonomous systems everyone is debating how to control. Keynotes, panels and workshops for regulators, operators and standards bodies — India and globally, in person or remote.

01

Lessons from the NOC: what telecom operations teaches AI governance

How decades of running autonomous networks with humans accountable maps onto governing agentic AI.

02

The human-oversight problem in agentic AI systems

Why "human in the loop" is an operational design challenge, not a compliance checkbox.

03

India's role in global technology governance

Why the Global South's operational technology base is a governance asset, not an afterthought.

04

Designing accountability for systems that act on their own

Escalation ladders, audit trails, and the architecture of meaningful human control.
